A Quest for Health

Shisaa Spa International started as a quest for health. Hank, founder of Phase 7 Technology, was suffering from West Nile Virus (WNV) contracted by a mosquito bite near a lake in northern Colorado during the WNV epidemic in the summer of 2003. After a near death experience, a life flight, and several weeks in the neuro-intensive care unit at the University of Utah hospital, Hank went home to Wyoming a different man. He knew he still wasn’t well despite his medical doctor’s bill of good health and release from the hospital and rehab. But they had done all they could do. The virus had been amplified by his diabetes, and at the end of the bout with WNV, he was insulin dependent, nearly blind, barely able to walk, and suffering from brain damage caused by encephalitis and meningitis, two conditions manifested by the WNV.

That’s when Hank, an electrical engineer, met Dr. Walt Conard, a chiropractor and natural health physician. Dr. Conard worked to balance Hank’s energy and brought him back to life and vitality through ionic detoxification treatments and a total health regimen. Over time, the duo worked together to create a better ionic detoxification system for use in Dr. Conard’s practice.
